Material Selection & Specs

How do I choose the right material based on operating temperature?

We offer a tiered thermal solution based on your requirements:

  • Above 200°C: Our top-tier selections include PI (300°C+), PEEK (260°C), or PPS (220°C).

  • 150°C – 200°C: We recommend PEI (Ultem) or specialized modified Nylons.

  • Below 100°C: POM (Acetal) or PA66 (Nylon) are the most cost-effective choices for standard industrial use.

Which material offers the best chemical resistance?

PTFE (Teflon) is virtually immune to almost all industrial chemicals.

However, if your application requires high mechanical strength alongside chemical resistance, PEEK is the best all-around performer for acidic or alkaline environments.

What is the main difference between Natural and 30% Glass Fiber (30% GF) grades?

Reinforced grades significantly enhance the material’s tensile strength and Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT).

However, be aware that glass fiber increases tool wear during machining and reduces the overall ductility (elongation) of the material.

Precision Machining & Tooling Guide

How can I avoid center-line cracking when machining PEEK rods?

PEEK has low thermal conductivity. To prevent heat buildup and cracking, always use sharp tools and high-pressure coolant.

For large-diameter rods, we recommend a “layer-by-layer” machining approach from the outside in, while strictly controlling the feed rate.

Why do PTFE parts change dimensions after machining?

PTFE has a high coefficient of thermal expansion.

Finished parts must be allowed to cool completely to room temperature before final precision measurements are taken.

Our PTFE shapes undergo a specialized pre-treatment to minimize the “cold flow” effect.

Is there a difference in machining performance between POM-C and POM-H?

Yes. Compared to POM-H, POM-C (Copolymer) has significantly less center-line porosity and better resistance to hydrolysis, making it much more suitable for high-precision CNC machining where internal integrity is critical.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

How do you control the internal stress of each material batch?

Every specialized rod produced by Jekin Polymer undergoes a strictly monitored cycle in our automated annealing furnaces.

We record the “Annealing Curve” for every batch to ensure internal stress is reduced to the absolute minimum before shipping.

What environmental and industry certifications do you provide?

We provide compliance statements for RoHS 2.0, REACH, and FDA with our shipments. Furthermore, all our production processes and products strictly adhere to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Do you accept third-party laboratory testing, such as SGS?

Absolutely. We fully support and can facilitate the delivery of samples to third-party institutions (SGS, TUV, etc.) for specific physical property or chemical composition testing upon customer request.

Ordering & Customized Logistics

Do you support custom extrusion for non-standard sizes?

Yes. Beyond our standard stock, we can provide Custom Extrusion for specific diameters (e.g., 165mm) or specialized color formulations.

Please note that Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) apply depending on the material type.

How is the material packaged to prevent damage during international transit?

We prioritize protection for long-distance shipping:

  • Plates: Protected with film on both sides and secured on fumigation-free wooden pallets.

  • Rods: Encased in high-strength fiber tubes or heavy-duty wooden crates to prevent impact, bending, or surface scratching.

What payment methods do you accept?

To accommodate various international financial requirements, we accept T/T (Wire Transfer) and secure credit payments via Alibaba or our independent payment gateway.
